Vote swap
With a federal election about to bite us on our collective noses I thought I'd mention a cool little project going around the old Facebook. The Anti-Harper Vote Swap Canada a left-leaning group working to shut out Harper and his conservatives.
Just so you don't get the wrong idea, I'm not a card carrying member of any party. Well, actually I am a card carrying member of the NDP but that's a long story involving a once idealistic Sandeep. I'll save that story for another day.

The beautiful thing is that vote swapping is legal so long as both voters consent and no economic gains occur.
It's also a really cynical way to engage in democracy -- instead of voting for the people you like vote against the ones you don't. Has a nice ring to it if you ask me.

rightbut the left can get theirs too. If a New Democrat supporter lives in a riding where the Conservatives are neck in neck with a Liberal she (he) can swap her vote for someone where the NDP are tied with the Conservatives and etc, etc.
